Downham Home & Garden is a proudly family-owned business and part of the Glover Group. Over 20 years ago, Tim and Julie Glover purchased what was originally Bexwell Plants. Since then, they’ve lovingly transformed the site into a thriving garden centre and retail destination, complete with The Greenhouse Restaurant.

What began as a modest nursery has grown into a well-loved hub for all things home and garden. With newly built facilities and an ever-expanding range of high-quality products, we offer everything from seasonal plants, gardening essentials, and landscaping supplies to stylish home décor, gifts, and local food & drink.

Our family values are at the heart of everything we do, and you’ll often find members of the Glover family working across the site. We’re proud to still be independently owned and deeply grateful for the support of our loyal customers over the years.
